Known as the "Seafood Capital" of South Carolina, Murrells Inlet is famous for its succulent treasures of the sea. While great seafood restaurants and markets are plentiful in the Inlet, Murrells Inlet is also home to many other great kinds of restaurants including steak houses, pubs, Italian, Chinese and Thai restaurants. Or maybe you’d like to catch your own dinner as you feel the ocean spray tickle your face on a half or full day fishing charter from one of our inlet marinas. You can also explore the salt marsh on an ecology tour or get your adrenaline pumping with a parasail ride, a jet ski, kayak canoe, eco, dolphin or adventure tour.

Perhaps a relaxing stroll under the twisting, mossy live oaks of Brookgreen Gardens is more your scene. The historic site is the largest outdoor sculpture garden in the world and a perfect spot for a picnic. Huntington Beach State Park, home to an undeveloped beach, hiking trails, campsites, a nature center, marshland, and a real stone castle, is just down the street from Brookgreen Gardens.
